I love pairing my artwork with music, and this is no exception. The song lyrics that were playing in my head while I painted this surreal female portrait are:

This song is titled "Rhythm of my Heart", written by Marc Jordan and John Joseph Capek. I first heard this performed by Rod Stewart.

This painting is also inspired by true love, with one's soul mate as the guiding North star leading you home.
