Interview by the Houston Chronicle

After receiving the FAA Artistic Merit "Tony" Award earlier this summer, I was contacted for an interview by Megan Mattingly-Arthur, writer for the Houston Chronicle. The full-page interview was published yesterday in Houston Chronicle's "Faces in the Crowd" special feature. You can read the full article online here.

The artwork featured at the top of the article is "Sweet Jenny Bursting with Music" (below) with fine art prints available here. This is one of my favorite pieces!

Finally, my "Wee Planet" photography of downtown Bryan (below; fine art prints here) was the photo that first launched me on this path and led me to consider myself seriously as an artist.

Looking back, it is amazing to see just how much my artwork has grown over the years.

I'm walking on sunshine this morning! 😀 I'm also really craving some art studio time so I can get busy and create some new artwork!
