This Monday, November 3rd at noon at The Arts Center in College Station I will be sharing essential survival tips and resources for artists living in today’s digital world. You will learn about tools for locating copies of your art online, your rights as an artist and how to successfully battle copyright infringement, tips for safe selling and avoiding scams, and how to watermark your photos. You will also leave with a handy list of resources. If you have questions about safely promoting your artwork online, you will want to attend this informative demonstration for the Brazos Valley Art League on Monday, November 3rd at noon in The Arts Center, 2275 Dartmouth St, College Station, Texas 77840. See you then!
As some of you know, I have been battling copyright infringement recently. I’m winning, but it is a challenging situation and one I hope you don’t encounter with your own art. If you do, I want you to be prepared. That is why I am giving this talk to the Brazos Valley Art League on Monday, and I will be posting some helpful information and tools for artists here shortly. Please check back soon – my goal is to some great resources including a sample DMCA letter and reference links available here by Monday.
